Key Responsibilities
- Designing UI elements and tools such as navigation menus, search boxes, tabs, and widgets for our digital assets
- Testing UI elements such as CTAs, banners, page layouts, page designs, page flows, and target links for landing pages
- Optimize existing user interface designs
- Work hand in hand with the rest of the design team to offer consistency to our users across all devices and platforms
- Adhering to style standards on typography and graphic design
- Communicate with clients to understand their business goals and objectives
- Collaborating with the marketing team, and internal and external designers to ensure the creation and delivery of tailored experiences for the digital user
- Combine creativity with an awareness of the design elements
- Develop technical and business requirements and always strive to deliver intuitive and user-centered solutions
- Plan and implement new designs
Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Minimum experience of 3+ years as an UI designer, digital interface, interaction, or similar fields
- A portfolio of professional UI design work for multi-platform projects (web, responsive and native mobile applications) and in e-commerce
- Working knowledge of the following technologies and software: Sketch, InVision, Visio, HTML, CSS (SCSS), iOS, Android, Design Systems, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Advanced knowledge of design patterns for mobile and iOS Human Interface and Android Material Design guidelines
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A team player but can work independently too
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in user interface design, techniques, best practices, and technologies
- Some knowledge of Usability Factors in Human Computer Interaction
- Ability to solve problems creatively and efficiently
- Ability to present and defend design proposals to managers and stakeholders
