Key Responsibilities
- Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content on a daily basis (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)
- Design, implement, and manage social media strategy to align with business goals
- Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
- Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
- Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network
- Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales and customer service to ensure brand consistency
- Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics
- Define and maintain important social media KPIs and KRAs
- Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
- Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
- Communicate effectively to all stakeholders including senior management content developers, and copywriters
2+ years of experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Tiktok, and other social media best practices
- Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
- Working experience with social media marketing tools such as Buffer and Hootsuite (mention any social media marketing tool that you are using or plan to use)
- Experience with audience and buyer persona research
- Hands on experience in content creation and management
- Familiarity with web design and publishing
- Good understanding of social media KPIs
- Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
- Strong communication and people skills for articulating ideas to colleagues and clients
- Excellent leadership, critical thinking, analytical, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work well under pressure in order to meet deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Marketing or relevant field
